Christmas Gone

A pleasantly warm and distant memory.  Christmas, I mean.  We seem to have flow from the warm twinkling lights of December to the icy cold and gloomy glow of January.

Daisy Hampers made its second appearance at the North Shields Victorian Market in December 2010.

Saturday was a busy rush of purchases of children's gifts and toys and our range of "pocket money presents" was very popular with youngsters out buying gifts for their friends and siblings.  Our new activity bags for girls were very popular and sold out by 3pm!

This year we introduced our "Christmas Thoughts" hamper which is created as a gift to loved ones who are either spending Christmas alone or away from home or for those who no longer have anyone to share the day with.  We proudly sold out of the Christmas Thoughts hampers along with our selection of delightful festive hampers, gift baskets and gifts.

Sunday arrived grim, wet and bitterly cold and although the first snowfall had melted away, the weather was against us throughout the day.  This did not put off the visitors and the festivities and carnival atmosphere of the market kept both the shoppers and stall holders entertained.

A very warm thank you to all of our regular customers and welcome to our new customers.

Happy New Year!
